The nested-interdependencies model of sustainability, reflects their interdependent reality. It shows that society and the economy are wholly-owned subsidiaries of the environment. The environment is our holding company. If it goes out of business, we all go out of business. We have a 200 year future proof goal, 12-15% growth increase for the next 200 year plan for generations with the growth increase. Working together as a collective for the children of the globe.
Holding companies qualify as key stakeholders. If we personify the environment / natural capital / ecosystem services as “Mother Nature,” Mother Nature is every company’s ultimate holding company. Therefore, Mother Nature is a key stakeholder for every business. QED.
Our Importance
- Mother nature teaches us patients. The change of seasons and the slow growth of plants remind us that everything happens in its own time.

- Mother nature teaches imperfection. The water cycle and the healing of soil and the change of seasons all take place in a non-linear, imperfect progression.
The Business Idea
Mother Nature is too big to fail … but she is failing. Her free ecosystem services have been vastly undervalued, taken for granted and abused by business. Why? Because she has not been treated with the attention, respect and care paid to a key stakeholder, especially a big holding company. It’s time to correct that oversight.

Manaaki Charitable Trust is setup for the children of Aotearoa NZ, and will continue to grow out to our extended family members around the globe IDEA GENERATION future proofing 200 years guaranteed plan. During the leasing period, the company is expected to pay a donation fee to there selected Manaaki trust organisation at the cost the lessee feels is required.

The idea of generation future proofing is to guarantee 200 years for our children to gain the best experiences and value of life’s qualities. For that to happen we all need to live, live together, work, work together, love, and love together before we all move onto our next journey’s. There is one aspect for this to be able to happen and that’s what mother nature has to offer. Which also is also a massive part of manaaki’s business development and growth. We wouldn’t be here without her.
This need for a long-term perspective and greater attention being paid to nature-based solutions were behind a vision. A nature-based future for Aotearoa NZ, celebrations and more.
